LOCATION SOUND
STUDENT OF REVIVAL is a passion project of Anthony and Caleb Phipps - the team that also made Little Image Bearers. Anthony is a pastor chasing after the heart of God and one of my favorite people. This documentary series chronicles outpourings of the Spirit of God. Being part of this project has been an immense blessing and has allowed me to experience His grace at Asbury College, the North Georgia Revival and more. This series is ongoing as the love of God is never-ending. You can WATCH STUDENT OF REVIVAL and I hope you will choose to support future efforts to scribe the Lord’s merciful hand.

BOOM OPERATOR
The faith-based procedural drama, VINDICATION, has been a significant part of my last several years. Having worked almost every episode as boom operator, I have been fortunate to be present for some of the most riveting performances by some really great actors. Created and directed by Jarod O’Flaherty, this series is a significant part of my return to production work. What started as one short film turned into a multi-season series and I am fortunate to have been part of it from the beginning. VINDICATION is available on RedeemTV for free.

SEASON 2
FAITH-BASED CHILDREN’S SERIES

LITTLE IMAGE BEARERS is a wonderful children’s series created by and staring Caleb Phipps, who I first worked with on the series VINDICATION. I was the Director of Photography for the shooting of Little Imager Bearers and then went on to compose the soundtrack for the second season. Most of the score is solo piano, but the second half of season two features a puppet fantasy adventure for which I composed an epic sized adventure score. A bit of both types of the score are demonstrated in the clip above. Caleb set out to make a show that was both educational and spiritually edifying for children, while not overloading their senses and nerves with flashy, gimmicky production tricks. This show is geared for children but I honestly find it calming and entertaining to watch as an adult - as much of an adult as Il can admit to being. I highly recommend LIttLE IMAGE BEARERS for the little ones in your life.

I had the honor of doing the location sound for the TBN series, THE CHOSEN UNVEILED, season 2. This insightful series is hosted by Rabbi Jason Sobel who I found to be one of the most generously loving people I’ve ever worked with. Shot on location at The Chosen Studios in Midlothian, Texas and at Capernaum Studios near Weatherford, Texas during some cold and windy days in February of 2023 - I did all the location sound myself and, as often happens, made more lifelong friends in the process. This series is fascinating in that Rabbi Sobel, a Messianic-Jewish Rabbi, breaks down scenes from the popular show from a first-century Hebraic perspective.

ROOM FOR DAISY is a short film that addresses human trafficking by the incredible Rebekah Jordan. I was afforded the opportunity to shoot this short off of conversations I’d had when Rebekah and I first met on other set. Daisy is the neighbor to a brother and sister who catch on to their friend’s crisis In her home life and help her escape a nightmare of a situation. Originally I was only going to shoot this for Rebekah but our discussions led to my being able to write the score.

BRINGING BACK CHRISTMAS is a faith-based feature film directed by Lisa Arnold, written by Trey and Ariel Fernald. Shot at Capernaum Studios near Weatherford, Texas in the blazing hot summer of 2022, this was my second on-set adventure with actress Isabelle Almoyan and comedian/actor Mark Christopher Lawrence who were both in FRAGMENT: OBLIVION. Making this movie was a lot of fun and I made even more lifelong friends on this set that I have continued to work and adventure with.

FRAGMENT: OBLIVION was shot in Colorado over five weeks in 2022, Fragment was the my first collaboration with filmmaker Nathan Blair. Not only did I do the location sound for the entire series by myself, I also acted in the final episode of the series, which was ironically the first scenes to be shot. This was my first of two back-to-back gigs with with actress Isabelle Almoyan and comedian/actor Mark Christopher Lawrence. Fra

“Painfully Pretty” is a music video to the song by country music artist James Dupree. Shot one day in May of 2022 at and near Randy Travis’ estate in North Texas, I edited and shot most of this video with the ZCam E2F6. Directed by my friend Kim Hughes who herself has two feature films under her belt. The “love interest” in this music video is actress Megan Glover, who also is also in the series VINDICATION.
